About the Program:
The Enriching Hour Preschool offers families the opportunity to afford high quality care and education for their children on a part-time or full-time schedule. Our Philosophy is based on love, values, and respect for each child in our care. We believe that all children are special and unique individuals and must be treated as such. Each child has the potential to become a healthy, caring, sensitive, and fully contributing member of society. We believe that children are active learners and that learning is augmented through play, hands-on activities, enriching materials, and positive feedback from knowledgeable teachers. We believe that children develop at individual rates and construct their own knowledge through repeated experiences involving interactions with people and materials. Through active exploration, experimentation, and manipulation of their environment the development of children’s thinking, reasoning, decision-making, and problem solving abilities are enhanced.
