About the Program:
Casner Christian Academy has been serving children and families in Austin since 1965. Casner is built on strong christian ideals and strives to provide our students with a supportive academic environment where they develop independence, respect for their country, and a love of learning and the Lord.
Casner is a curriculum-based school following the A Beka Book curriculum, which is unashamedly Christian and traditional. At Casner, we believe it is the God-given ministry of parents and Christian schools to lead young people to Christ and to train them in the Bible, Christian character, language, and traditional subject manner. Our students are taught the accumulated wisdom of the past from God’s point of view and trained in the way that they should go according to biblical teaching.
The A Beka Book approach to Christian education keeps learning lively, interesting, and memorable. The materials reflect sensible theory that is firmly anchored to practical application. The skilled researchers and writers at A Beka Book do not paraphrase progressive education textbooks and add biblical principles. Instead, they perform primary research in every subject and create textbooks from a biblical worldview that are built upon the firm foundation of scriptural truth. We are proud to teach their curriculum here at Casner.
