About the Program:
Hope Children's Center was established in 1978 as an outreach ministry of Hope Presbyterian Church on its campus in Northwest Austin. We are fully licensed by Texas Dept. of Family and Protective Services. Our mission is to provide an outreach program of Hope Presbyterian Church for the purpose of nurturing and educating preschool and Kindergarten children in a Christian atmosphere. Our curriculum at Hope Children's Center is developed with the children's best interest in mind. We have a delicate balance of age appropriate fun activities designed to encourage social, emotional, physical and intellectual skills through play. The children have the opportunity to experience "hands on learning" in the following areas: dramatic play - art expression - literature - cooking - math - science - outdoor activities. Language and vocabulary, math creativity, problem solving, fine and gross motor skills, pro-social skills and uses of imagination are all enhanced while playing and having fun.
