About the Program:
The Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center was established in 1982 to meet the needs of employees of Longwood Medical and Academic Area (LMA) institutions. We provide full- and part-time care for 96 children from ages 2 months to 5 years in a caring and nurturing environment that supports each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Respect for children, families, and diverse cultures are an integral part of the curriculum, which is designed to promote each child’s emerging self-confidence and self-esteem. A consistent program throughout the center provides stability for children and families as they move through the age-designated programs.
