About the Program:
Whittier Heights Preschool Inc. offers your child a play-based curriculum focusing on early literacy, math, and natural science concepts, while exploring their emerging interests. The emphasis is on learning through art, music, stories, building, sensory and dramatic play, games, group discussion, and much more. WHP is a simplified co-op, without evening meeting, board positions, or detailed job assignments. Each family helps out in class occasionally (scheduled) and provides snack on that day. Our school is open from mid-September through mid - June and follows the Seattle Public School calendar for breaks and holidays. Week long themed camps are offered during the summer.
