About the Program:
Mulberry Tree Preschool and Kindergarten is an inclusive program that strives to provide your child to learn through hands on experience joyfully, and ultimately become self motivated problem solvers with a curiosity about the world. Our goal is to value each child' ability to create, learn and build meaningful relationships with each other. Placing value on aesthetics, organization, thoughtfulness, provocations communication and interaction. Through play, they explore developmental themes and stages leading to physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. DRDP's are used as an assessment tool, along with observation and documentation throughout the year. We are composed of 3 classrooms, each having outdoor classrooms. Preschool (Busy Bees), Pre-Kindergarten (Caterpillars). Transitional Kindergarten/ Kindergarten combination class (Butterfly Classroom), and an After-school outdoor classroom. Each classroom has one master teacher, teacher and aides. Our educators range from Early Child Development majors to Psychology majors, and all of our staff are currently attending local colleges and/or universities. We are under the QSLA program, which assesses our program annually in ECERS as well as CLASS.
Toilet Independence Requirements:
Not required for Busy Bee classroom.
