About the Program:
We offer a range of programs that cater to children between 18 months to 5 years. Our play school programs include:
1. Toddler Program: Our toddler program is designed for children between the ages of 1.5 and 2.5 years. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn and play through age-appropriate activities and games.
2. Pre-Nursery Program: Our Pre-Nursery program is Designed for children of ages 2.5 years to 3 years. We focus on developing basic skills such as language, math, and motor skills through fun and engaging activities.
3. Nursery Program: Our nursery program is Designed for children of ages 3 years to 5 years. We provide a stimulating and challenging environment where children can develop social, emotional and cognitive skills through hands on learning and play.
Toilet Independence Requirements:
At Wonder World Play School, we ask that children can use the toilet on their own by the first day of school. What does this mean? Being independent in toileting means:
1. Telling us when they need to go: Children should be able to say they need to use the bathroom before having an accident.
2. Managing their clothes: Children should be able to pull down and pull up their own underwear and pants.
3. Sitting on the toilet: Children should be able to sit on the toilet comfortably by themselves.
4. Washing their hands: Children should be able to wash their own hands.
5. Waiting briefly if needed: Children should be able to wait a little if another child is using the bathroom or if we need to come in from outside.
Children who can do all these things don't need to wear diapers or pull-ups to school. Our teachers are there to supervise and help with toilet routines when needed. We also aim to encourage children's independence and protect their privacy during these personal routines.
