About the Program:
The mission of Wesley School is to provide an environment where children can learn and grow in love and security, and in the knowledge and understanding of God.
Wesley School is a vital ministry of Memorial United Methodist Church.
The purpose of the school is to provide an environment of Christian nurture in which children learn about God, His creation and His word as they mature mentally, socially, physically and spiritually.
The staff strives to model an example of Christian living for the children. They provide a variety of learning experiences that lead the children in the development of their own values and the appreciation of self and others.
Wesley School is a Texas Rising Star accredited school (3-star) that provides a program for infants, toddlers, and preschool classes for two, three and four year old children, as well as after school care for children ranging from 6 weeks of age through fourth grade.
The school is governed by a Memorial United Methodist Church appointed board that meets regularly with the director to study and establish the policies of the school in the best interest of the children and families involved.
The program is administered by the director who has a childcare center director's certification from the state of Texas. Each member of the staff is a caring and nurturing teacher and possesses the understanding essential in teaching children.
