About the Program:
Wellan Montessori School (formerly Newton Montessori School) is an independent, coeducational school for age 15 months – Grade 8, located in Newton Centre. Toilet Independence Requirements:
Wellan Montessori School expects independence in the bathroom for all students entering a Primary classroom. Furthermore, the school does not permit children in the Primary division to use diapers or pull ups.
If you have concerns or questions about this policy, or if your child is not toileting independently by the first day of school, please contact the school directly. In such an instance, the school will work with you to create a plan and strategy for your child's independence in the bathroom which will include home support.
