About the Program: 
Some students enrolled in Social Kids! Playgroup might be diagnosed with Speech Impairment or in need of a Speech-Language Evaluation. Speech-Language-Play provides evaluations and therapy on a limited basis depending upon scheduling and individual needs. Openings and rates can be discussed upon inquiry. If there are no openings in the therapy schedule here, I will help you identify other local options that will meet your needs. When a student is enrolled in speech therapy elsewhere, consultations between therapy and playgroup will be encouraged to provide the most effective team approach. Every student's speech therapy goals and strategies will be practiced during playgroup when appropriate for help generalizing skills. Consultations with therapists and carry-over of goals into Playgroup is provided at no additional charge. We practice developmentally appropriate communication and social skills through the natural context of play.​​
