About the Program:
The Secret Garden Preschool was founded by Laurie Smith in June of 1998.
With our focus on social and emotional growth as well as community, The Secret Garden Preschool offers many opportunities for our students to become good citizens as well as good students. Through hands-on learning, children are encouraged to explore and use their imaginations. The curriculum is rich with art, science, music, dance, literature, math and is balanced with opportunities to for child-directed play.

Enrichment activities:
We are so proud to offer a program rich in both science and the arts. Because of our director’s strong science background, our curriculum, especially at the Pre-K level, includes many science-related activities. In addition, starting with the threes classes, we bring in dance and music specialists once a week. Beginning with the fours classes and continuing into Pre-K, we have dance, music and foreign language specialists each week.
