About the Program:
At River East School, we embrace the ideas of educere, one of the Latin roots of the English word education, and community. In Latin, educere means to lead out or bring forth. We believe in the innate creativity, confidence and compassion of children. At RES, we help lead out or bring forth these already existing qualities in children. We believe that excellent student-teacher ratios is key to making quality learning happen. Our ratios are 1:4. This enables children to be heard and teachers to feel like masters of their craft.
