About the Program: 
First Friends Daycare is a small, cozy, privately-owned family daycare center in Cheektowaga, NY offering childcare services for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We have 3 classrooms with small capacities for a small, comfortable, home like feel with the mixture of classroom instruction. We offer flexible enrollment options for families with all schedules and needs. We are a Quality Stars participant, a Breast-Feeding Friendly Certified center, an Eco-Healthy certified center, Eat Well Play Hard graduates, CACFP participants, and we are currently in the process of expanding to add an additional 6,000 square foot new building across the street from our existing building.
Toilet Independence Requirements: 
We assist with potty-training efforts with the goal that children are prepared to move into the pre-k room with children ages 3-5 and are mostly potty trained.

COVID-19 Protocols: 
We have a disinfectant fogger we use regularly. All of our classrooms are coated in Paint Shield microbicidal paint that kills germs. We have attestations from each family, all staff, adults, and children ages 2+ wear facemasks. We follow the Health Plan on site for exclusion symptoms.
