About the Program:
BGCC is a private, non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide the highest quality care and education to children ages three months through five years. We cultivate learning, curiosity, creativity, community and sense of self through our emergent curriculum for young children. Our comprehensive developmental program features appropriate challenges, structured activities and abundant time for outdoor exploration.
Our highly skilled staff partners with parents to provide a safe, joyful, and enriching environment for children. We are committed to providing ongoing professional development to our innovative teachers.
Botanic Gardens Children’s Center is an inclusive community which values individual differences among children and diversity in families and staff members. Our families come from all over the world, enriching our classrooms and our community. Affiliated with Harvard University, we give priority to Harvard families in admissions; we also serve the greater Cambridge metropolitan area. Many of our parents are visiting scholars from other countries. It’s not uncommon to hear four or five languages spoken in the same classroom. Recent BGCC families have come from China, Israel, India, Germany, Greece, Italy, Korea and Spain. We look forward to you joining us!
