About the Program: 
Blooming Rose Preschool is located in the charming Arbor Lodge neighborhood in North Portland. Blooming Rose accepts children ages 2-5. We are a school that utilizes the Project Approach for teaching and learning, French language enrichment, a multicultural lens, and a focus on kindergarten readiness. Here at Blooming Rose, our charming school holds a main room (pictured below) for free play, a lunch room for eating and creating projects, a library for pre-k work and independent reading, a music & movement room for singing and dancing, and a big backyard for exploring and playing outside! We are a year-round school with designated breaks following the PPS yearly calendar.
Toilet Independence Requirements: 
​Blooming Rose does not require children to be potty trained upon acceptance into our program. We understand that readiness to potty train will vary among children and we respect their right to wait until ready. We do however, encourage use of the toilet when appropriate, and look for signs of readiness and excitement towards bathroom time!
