About the Program: 
Austin South Christian Academy has been caring for children since 2004. Our center is grounded on a foundation of excellent curriculum, efficient teacher-pupil ratios and a secure learning environment. We provide a healthy environment that can help young children to grow their skills and abilities. Our daycare program provides early childhood and preschool classrooms. Our center continues to develop and excel with Infant, Toddler and Pre-K programs. At Austin South Christian Academy we engage Active Minds in a healthy learning environment. The need to successfully manage, contribute, grow and learn from life is dependent on a child’s mind being cconsistantly engaged in learning. It is this engagement which stimulates physical, social and intellectual growth which are the building blocks of self-esteem and a healthy and happy life. We focus on an early learning experience that combines a proven curriculum, child-initiated activities, teacher directed lessons, valuable experiences and practical applications that provide the best education for each child. Austin South Christian Academy Active Minds Curriculum (AAMC) brings together monthly themes and skill enhancement programs that reinforce a love of learning and establishes early self-esteem. This is accomplished through a refined combination of learning stations, skill development games, group and individual activities. Child-Initiated Activities with our teachers guidance, help children explore, question and investigate the world around them. Children are free to learn and explore their environment through centers filled with sensory, manipulative, dramatic, language and science materials. Experience and practical application are critical elements in our program. Experience is truly the best teacher. Your child will participate in numerous exciting adventures, including field trips, enrichment programs, holiday play’s, recitals and visits from special guests. These experiences are what allow Austin South Christian Academy to touch the future of one child at a time.
