About the Program: 
Our Philosophy: As a parent you can feel reassure that your child is experiencing joy, encouragement and a feeling of "being special". We provide a world that is child-oriented and planned so children can develop at a rate that meets their individual needs. We also establish routines the children can cope with and understand. Our Licensing: Our 2 locations are licensed by the Oregon Department of Education Early Learning Division Office of Children Care and exceeds all State Law regulations for our program. We are a Bilingual English and Spanish Center. We welcome all children, regardless of special need. Accommodations to improve inclusion are written as necessary depending on the needs of the child. Preschool Preschool Early Education Program The preschool years are a time of great creativity and social growth. We plan a day full of fun, engaging experiences designed to stimulate your preschooler’s body and mind – and make learning fun. At this age, school readiness becomes a priority. Our curriculum is focused on giving your child a solid foundation in the academic skills needed for Kindergarten and beyond. The foundation of our preschool curriculum is Creative Curriculum®, a nationally-recognized, state-approved program that helps your child develop the skills needed for school. We enhance this curriculum with the latest research into brain-based development, available only at Amazing Minds Child Development Center And Preschool Inc. Your preschooler will love all the planned, fun experiences in language, math, science, social studies, music and art – and so much more! In addition, we supplement Creative Curriculum with The Zoo-phonics Multisensory Language Arts Program. This program uses high-quality children’s literature to teach literacy concepts, including phonemic and phonetic awareness, letter recognition, and writing. The program builds character as children explore character traits such as responsibility, patience, creativity, and respect. Goals of the Preschool Program 1. Desarrollo del lenguaje • Desarrollar habilidades para escuchar y hablar Crecer en lectura y escritura School Age Before & After School Program Summer Camp (5 years – 12 years) Amazing Minds Child Development Center provides an engaging learning environment for your School Age student.  Even when school is not in session, children need to be actively engaged in a stimulating learning environment.  We offer a safe, structured environment that balances learning and fun.  Our programs offer enrichment opportunities, field trips, engaging learning centers, and opportunities to extend learning beyond the school day. From completing homework to fun physical activities, this program builds independent learners while promoting youth voice. Daily Schedule: The School Age program offers parents and students Before School, After School, Before & After School, or School Vacation options.  Mornings are filled with activities to help “wake the brain” as children arrive and begin their day.  Students are given the opportunity to choose activities based on their interests and engage in structured activities.  Homework assistance is always available.
