About the Program: 
Founded by Child Development expert Cindy Wasson in 1992, 10th Street Preschool is dedicated to helping children make two milestone transitions, first from their home to their school, and then, from toddler to kindergarten. 10th Street Preschool, nestled in a residential enclave in Santa Monica, has been one of Southern Californiaês leading preschools for over twenty five years. Formerly owned by Hal Ashby and his family, our campus, just a few miles from the ocean, includes historic craftsman bungalows, lush flowers, and expansive, vibrant murals by Peter and Nancy Turner-Alvet.
Toilet Independence Requirements: 
Our Little School program (2 - 2.6 years) does not require children to be toilet trained. Preschool students (2.6 - 5.9) are required to be toilet trained prior to start.

Enrichment activities: 
Helping parents with busy schedules, our enrichment programs give children ages 2.6 to 7 more time with teachers and friends to practice being at school for a longer day, help to build their relationships with other teachers, and to enhance study skills in preparation for kindergarten. Our programs are open to any childãeven children not enrolled in our schoolãand are available one to five days a week. Wait List & Priority Enrollment Details: 
Children who enroll in our Toddler and Little School programs take priority for Preschool enrollment. We host an Admissions Day for all Prospective Families the first Friday in February. This is a great opportunity to meet families prior to the common date acceptance letters go out.
